3X3 beim UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup in Aalen
On 23.07.2022 the UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup will take place in Aalen, and is thus for the first time on the beautiful Swabian Ostalb. As a real home game, we do not want to miss the opportunity to support this event and are on site as a sponsor.
The race is one of the most audience-friendly disciplines in modern MTB racing due to exciting sprint duels on a short inner-city lap. The world’s best mountain bike sprinters will fight man-against-man or woman-against-woman duels in the pedestrian zone and at Aalen’s town hall.
The day will start with the Time-Trail, where each of the bike aces will complete one lap on the race track on time. The times will be used to determine the later beats, in which four starters will compete against each other in a knockout system. The co-favorites: the German Marion Fromberger and the reigning world champion Simon Gegenheimer from Aalen. So fingers crossed for our two local heroes!
Of course 3X3 will not only be there to cheer them on. We will also be present in the Expo Area of the event and offer the possibility to test ride the brand new 3X3 NINE hub gears in different bikes. So it’s definitely worth stopping by!
